Andrew Jago is a state manager for Russell Investments in Australia. Andrew joined Russell in 2004 to develop and manage relationships with financial planning advisory firms in Queensland and northern New South Wales. His role entails expanding the understanding and application of Russell's investment process within financial planning businesses. This includes assisting the principals and advisers in those businesses with tools and processes to assist business growth.
Prior to joining Russell, Andrew was a director of Timber Australia, a boutique agribusiness investment management business, where he was responsible for managing the business from start-up to a fully operating business which encompassed both forestry operations and investment marketing.
Andrew's interest in financial planning started not long after he qualified as a CPA, when he realised financial planning was a crucial part of ensuring clients' long term financial security. He implemented financial planning services in the family business, gravitating to using multi-manager investment solutions for his own clients.
Andrew is also an honorary director of a charity responsible for linking children from stressed backgrounds with volunteer mentors.
