Linda Stangherlin is the State manager for NSW and ACT in Russell's retail investor services team based in the Sydney office. She joined the team in September 2004. Her role involves working with Russell's existing distribution partners to assist in business growth, as well as seeking new opportunities for Russell and distribution partners. Linda's role also involves maintaining Russell's relationship with platforms where Russell products are represented. Linda has over 12 years experience in the investments services industry.
For three years prior to joining Russell, Linda was with ING Australia Limited, most recently as national manager of funds management. She was the key relationship manager with all research houses, being responsible for maintaining and upgrading all asset class research house ratings. Prior to this Linda was the senior business development manager, where she was responsible for developing and managing ING's key account relationships.
As senior business development manager for HSBC Asset Management (Australia) Ltd., for three years, Linda distributed HSBC products through various dealer group networks and platforms, taking on state management responsibility for all channels.
Linda began her financial career after university as financial planner with St George Bank where she spent five years in the role.
