As Jack Welch once wrote, “When the rate of change on the outside exceeds the rate of change on the inside, the end is in sight”. He could well have been writing about advice businesses in the next two to three years. Those that adapt to the changing environment will grow and move forward, while others will stagnate and perhaps disappear.

Welcome to the first edition of Nolan’s kNowledge, a key component of Helping Advisers and the new Russell Practice Management (RPM) offering about to launch in Australia. Through regular communications like these, we hope to bring you the best in practice development news – the things that matter – in a format that is easy to read, digest and implement in your business.

With the release of the proposed Future of Financial Advice Reforms (FoFA), there’s a lot of noise out there, but not a lot of direction or support. We intend to address this and other issues important to you through Helping Advisers, Nolan’s kNolwedge and a range of other tools.
