Every quarter, Russell surveys a range of investment managers as to their outlook for various asset classes, sectors, valuations for the Australian market and their views on a topical area of interest.
INVESTMENT MANAGER OUTLOOK
This quarter, there was a very clear and positive shift in manager sentiment in favour of growth assets, as managers take on more risk amidst improving outlooks for the U.S. and Europe.
An overwhelming majority of respondents ranked Chinese economic growth as most influential factor in portfolio construction, followed closely by the Australian dollar and European debt funding. We also include highlights from the U.S. IMO, which surveyed manager intentions on their portfolio exposure to European companies.
