Definition
The Russell Global Small Cap Index measures the performance of the smallest securities in the Russell Global Index, based on market capitalization. The index includes approximately 7,000 securities and covers 12% of the investable global market.

The Russell Global Index is constructed to provide a comprehensive and unbiased barometer for the global segment and is completely reconstituted annually to ensure new and growing equities are reflected.
