James Barrett is the managing director of sales and relationship managmenet for Russell Investments' Americas institutional business. James leads the institutional team to develop, promote and implement investment solutions on a wide range of clients, including traditional and alternative investments, policy implementation, transition management, and consulting. James also serves as a member of the institutional investment group's senior management team that oversees the company's institutional business.
Prior to joining Rusesll in 2002, James was vice president of sales operations for Xerox Northwest Operations. James has 18 years' experience in the field of marketing, sales management and operations management. He has created and implemented marketing initiatives to increase the effectiveness of his organization and Russell multinational clients.
James frequently speaks to groups about management process improvement and sales management. He is a member of the University of Washington School of Marketing mentor program.
James is the managing director of Americas institutional sales and is a registered representative of Russell Institutional Services, Inc., an SEC registered investment adviser and FINRA member firm.
