Rob Ciro is director of strategic partners for Russell Investments where he is responsible for building and maintaining investment relationships in North America with large financial institutions, including insurance companies and banks, and with investment managers. Rob's expertise in global capital markets and pension plan management is a valuable resource in helping find unique solutions.
In 2005 Rob was named the director of Russell's custom investment outsourcing. In this role Rob let a Russell team in the delivery of customized investment solutions to institutional investors. This service is regarded as a comprehensive approach to strategic relationship management and leverages Russell's premier position in the institutional market, taking advantage of the wide range of Russell resources and expertise available for large client investment needs.
From 2002 to 2005 Rob advised funds on the implementation of investment strategies and was responsible for introducing Russell's services to pension plans in the southeast United States.
Prior, Rob was a client executive with Russell's Sydney, Australia-based operations where he helped Russell investment clients manage transaction costs. He worked with global clients in implementing their commission management programs, alongside Russell's U.S.-based portfolio transition team in managing and controlling the cost of manager changes and asset allocation shifts. Previous to his posting to Sydney, Rob was based in Russell's Tacoma, Washington headquarters, where he planned and implemented portfolio transitions for separate client accounts and Russell funds, managing both proposed and active transitions for clients.
Rob joined Russell in 1997 as a securities account examiner and later served as a performance analyst.
Rob is a registered representative of Russell Institutional Services Inc., an SEC registered investment adviser and FINRA member firm.
