Gerry Lillis is director of relationship management and client services for our institutional business, and head of our New York office. In this relationship management role, Gerry is responsible for the development of strategic, full service solutions for some of our largest clients.
Prior to joining us in 2004, Gerry spent 24 years at J.P. Morgan and Company where he held a variety of investment and leadership roles. Most recently, he ran Morgan's asset management businesses in Asia and, after the Morgan/Chase merger in 2000 he successfully integrated the new firm's investment operations in Japan, with a focus on further developing the firm's equity investment platforms. Earlier, from 1996 to 1999, he led Morgan's fixed income investment group. From 1990 to 1996, he applied his credit and corporate finance experience to Morgan's fixed income business by first expanding its corporate and mortgage private placement practice, and subsequently building a global credit research function and designing multi-sector high yield products. From 1987to 1990, he was a public market fixed income portfolio manager for institutional clients. Previously, he held several positions in the firm's investment banking division, servicing U.S multinational corporations and U.S. regional banks.
Gerry is a member of the Endowment Committee of the Family and Children's Agency, a Fairfield County, Connecticut social services organization and is active in youth athletics.
