Our approach to multi-manager investments
Managing risk. Building long-term wealth.

Our manager-of-managers investment process helps organizations like yours to access top investment firms, achieve greater long-term consistency of returns and invest with greater confidence.
We seek to provide consistent, above-average returns by combining premier managers with complementary return patterns. We actively monitor about
8,000 manager products
of which fewer than 9% earn our "buy" ranking. Fewer than 3% receive an assignment in a Russell fund.
We conduct intensive on-site evaluations of each manager at least once a year, and supplement these face-to-face sessions with frequent telephone interviews. Each year, our analysts conduct more than 4,000 manager meetings to delve into the people, investment process, portfolio, and investment performance of each manager.
We constantly monitor managers after selection, moving swiftly and cost-effectively when changes are needed.

Russell Investment Group is a Washington, USA corporation, which operates through subsidiaries worldwide, including Russell Investments, and is a subsidiary of The Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.
Please remember that all investments carry some level of risk, including the potential loss of principal invested. They do not typically grow at an even rate of return and may experience negative growth. As with any type of portfolio structuring, attempting to reduce risk and increase return could, at certain times, unintentionally reduce returns.
Diversification and strategic asset allocation do not assure profit or protect against loss in declining markets.
Specific sector investing such as real estate can be subject to different and greater risks than more diversified investments. Declines in the value of real estate, economic conditions, property taxes and tax laws and interest rates all present potential risks to real estate investments.
Non-US markets entail different risks than those typically associated with US markets, including currency fluctuations, political and economic instability, accounting changes, and foreign taxation. Securities may be less liquid and more volatile.
Bond investors should carefully consider risks such as interest rate risk, credit risk, securities lending, repurchase and reverse repurchase transaction risk. Greater risk is inherent in portfolios that invest primarily in high yield bonds. They are subject to additional risks, such as limited liquidity and increased volatility.
