A popular speaker at industry and Russell conferences, Ernie has authored over 20 Russell's research commentaries on topics as diverse as performance attribution, commodities, asset allocation and investor behavior.

Strategic Director for Russell Indexes

Russell Indexes are part of a more accurate and comprehensive system for evaluating the performance of investment managers. Haughton seeks new and expanded business opportunities and revenue streams for Russell Investments, such as the development of various derivatives products based on Russell indexes. He also serves as a primary spokesperson on index-related issues since he was a leader in the development of Russell's family of U.S. equity indexes—the Russell 1000® Index, Russell 2000® Index, Russell 3000® Index, Russell Earnings Growth® Index and Russell Price-Driven™ Index.

Senior Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager

Johnson manages Russell's mutual fund, commingled trust and select institutional client balanced funds. She was the first portfolio manager appointed to this asset class in 2004 and is charged with enhancing oversight and development of asset-allocated funds and related strategies.


Noel LambNoel Lamb
Chief Investment Officer for North America within Russell's investment management and research area

Lamb oversees Russell's funds and research in United States and Canada, global equities and real estate. He is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the investment process and its application to the needs of Russell's client base. Lamb also sets objectives and targets for Russell's funds and research. He oversees the evaluation of the results and the quality control of the investment output.

Chief Portfolio Strategist

Lert oversees formation and implementation of investment policy and processes. He serves as the primary spokesperson on Russell's quarterly Investment Manager Outlook. From 1996-2003, Lert was chief investment officer with responsibilities for all investment activities within Russell Investments.


Erik OgardErik Ogard
Director of Research for Russell's global hedge fund investment program

Ogard is responsible for the oversight and management of Russell's global hedge fund research content—in both equity and credit-related markets.


Lori Richards
Senior Product Manager

Richards manages Russell's suite of indexes and is responsible for the methodology enhancement and the overall branding of the widely utilized Russell index product line. Prior to managing the indexes, she was a senior client account manager with Russell/Mellon Analytical Services, focusing on maintaining strong client relationships as the primary point of contact for money manager strategic large accounts. She was responsible for serving client needs related to marketing, client service, investment, performance measurement and analytical reporting. She also provided interpretive and analytical support for Russell products.


Greg StarkGreg Stark
Co-Managing Director, Americas

Stark is responsible for Russell's retail funds distribution business in the United States and Canada. He sets Russell's strategic direction affecting all U.S. intermediary relationships, including bank, brokerage, insurance and other advisory channels. He also serves as president of Russell's investment management business, the firm's U.S. mutual fund management company, and Russell funds distributors, the firm's U.S. broker/dealer distributor.

Portfolio Manager

Tessin has management responsibility for all of Russell's small capitalization U.S. equity portfolios. His primary duties include manager selection and portfolio construction.


Brian C. TippleBrian C. Tipple
Director of U.S. Equity

Tipple is responsible for Russell's U.S. equity funds and manager research, and is accountable for the performance of the funds, the quality of the investment content and investment manager recommendations. Tipple also advises Russell clients on equity strategy and manager selection issues.


Ann WatsonAnn Watson
Managing Director of Human Resources

Watson overseeing Russell's global human resources activities. Watson is a member of Russell's operating committee working group, compensation, diversity and U.S. risk management committees.


Steve WoodStephen Wood
Senior Portfolio Strategist

Wood conducts research on the economy, capital markets, portfolio strategies as well as investor behavior. In this capacity, he works with institutional clients and retail partners to communicate Russell's investment and portfolio management process. Wood, who is based in Russell's office in New York, joined Russell in 2005 with significant experience managing institutional investment and high net worth clients. He serves as a leading voice on market activity and trends, including numerous broadcast appearances on the leading business news programs.
