Additionally, Steve assists Russell's management team with strategic planning and execution. Prior to joining Russell, Steve was owner and president of Moore Solutions, where he was a "resultant" who focused on bottom-line performance. In that capacity, he helped teams at Microsoft Corporation and Russell Investment Group develop the goals, strategies, processes and action plans to drive customer satisfaction and create exciting business results. Steve's unique perspective is the result of 12 years of game planning in the NFL, directing an international consulting/training company, and continual study of leading-edge business practices and optimal performance psychology. He has helped more than 650 business teams achieve their goals. Steve's football coaching experience spans 20 years. From 1978 to 1989 he coached in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills. From 1972 to 1979 he coached at Rice University and the U.S. Army Academy at West Point and at high schools in Texas and California. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master's degree in education from Seattle University.
