Russell Boosts Practice Management Services for Financial Professionals
Resultant Steve Moore Joins U.S. Distribution Business

TACOMA, Wash. July 19, 2005 Russell Investment Group announced today that resultant Steve Moore has joined the firm's U.S. Distribution business as director, practice management. In this role, Moore will oversee Russell's practice management services for financial professionals, including the firm's successful High Speed Strategic Planning sessions, which provide advisors with practical information and strategies for expanding their businesses and improving the value they bring to clients.
Moore will also coordinate closely with Russell University to deliver financial professionals tailored, content-rich advice and support on topics directly related to the management of their businesses, including business plan development, succession planning, marketing, client relationship management and time management. Moore will report to Craig Wainscott, managing director, knowledge capital.
Moore joins Russell after 12 years running his own consulting firm, Moore Solutions. Russell was one of two primary clients of Moore Solutions during the last eight years (the other being Microsoft) and during this period Moore presented regularly at Russell conferences and provided one-on-one consultation to more than 150 advisors. Moore also worked closely with Russell's U.S. Distribution team to develop the current series of High Speed Planning seminars.

Prior to starting Moore Solutions in 1993, Moore was managing director and later chief operating officer of the Pacific Institute, an international corporation specializing in performance improvement and professional growth, change management and leadership development.
Moore spent the first 20 years of his career as a professional football coach. From 1978 to 1989 he coached in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks and the Buffalo Bills. From 1972 to 1979 he coached at Rice University and the United States Military Academy at West Point and at high schools in Texas and California.
