Russell kicks off 2011 advisor seminar series in San Diego

Events planned to help advisors at all points of their business lifecycle

Seattle, WA — March 9, 2011 — Russell Investments began its 2011 advisor seminar series in San Diego this week with two concurrent events: the Russell Due Diligence Conference and the Russell Advanced Advisor Seminar. The seminars ran from March 7 - 9, catering to approximately 200 advisors and aimed at helping attendees to manage and grow their practices. They are the first in a planned series of nine events nationally.

"We set out every day to help advisors solve problems across a broad spectrum, ranging from investment solutions to practice management guidance," said Michael Winnick, managing director, U.S. Sales and Partnerships for Russell's private client services business. "The seminar series is a cornerstone of the high-touch approach to how we work with our advisor clients to become a catalyst for their growth and success."

The Russell Due Diligence Conference hosted advisors who are at an earlier stage of their business or new to working with Russell, while the Advanced Advisor Seminar focused on solutions for established advisors to accelerate their businesses and move to the next level. Both events gave advisors access to Russell capital markets, investment and practice management experts as well as the opportunity to network with their peers.
