Russell Investments sets 2012 index reconstitution schedule
Leading family of global equity market benchmarks remains a highly accurate market proxy for global investors and reflects the changing nature of global markets
Seattle, WA March 01, 2012 Global asset manager Russell Investments announced today the 2012 schedule for its annual index reconstitution process, which will capture and reflect the past year's global equity market shifts to ensure that investors continue to have the most accurate market proxy.
In keeping with its transparent, rules-based process, Russell will post lists of preliminary additions and deletions for the Russell Global Index, U.S. broad market Russell 3000® Index and Russell Microcap® Index on its website after the U.S. market closes on Friday, June 8, 2012. Updated lists, if necessary, will be posted at the same location on June 15th and June 22nd. Membership changes to Russell's comprehensive family of global market indexes will take effect as the markets close on Friday, June 22nd.
