Patricia Curtin
Managing Director, Retail
Patricia Curtin is managing director, retail with a focus on delivering Russell services and solutions to advisers, dealer groups and redistribution clients, along with working with researchers to understand and rate the Russell portfolios.
Prior to this Patricia was National Strategic Development Manager with Russell Investments. She joined the Russell Retail Investor Services team in February 2006 in this newly formed position.
One of Patricia’s key responsibilities was to manage Russell’s expanding client relationship and business development frameworks. Specifically, this is to ensure Russell places greater emphasis on strategic development and growth with Russell’s key Retail Accounts and Financial Advisers.
Over the past 18 years in the Financial Services Industry, Patricia has gained experience in both Wealth Management and Life Insurance. She was previously head of sales for Asteron, managing a diverse team of Business Development Managers throughout Australia, as well as the National Support and Key Account Management teams based in Sydney.
Prior to this, Patricia was Director of Integration with the BT Financial Group, responsible for integrating and merging Rothschild and Westpac Investment Management within strict cost and synergy benefit targets.
Patricia’s extensive knowledge of the finance industry and investment markets also stems from her work as Head of Institutional Business and International Equities Business Manager at Rothschild. Her deep understanding of working with financial advisers is a result of her role as Rothschild’s Head of Adviser Development. In this role Patricia was responsible for delivering tailored service programs to advisers and dealer groups, as well as contributing to the strategic management and direction of the broader Adviser Service Business.
Originally joining the industry with Prudential, her major focus was on Business Development after starting with that organisation in a State Training role.
Patricia has held a number of senior positions which have always focused on sales and working with key clients to ensure that their relationship remains strong and the benefits are tangible for both organisations.
