Russell provides the leading U.S. index family for institutional investors with $4.4 trillion in investment assets benchmarked against them. All U.S. indexes are subsets of the Russell 3000E™ Index, which represents approximately 99% of the U.S. equity market.

Russell Global Indexes
Russell Global Indexes offer an objective and transparent way to accurately measure distinct segments of the global market. The indexes are modular — divisible by market cap, emerging and developing markets, in 28 regions and 63 countries. They reflect true broad cap, large cap and small cap market coverage throughout the world. Approximately 10,000 companies or 98% of companies globally find their place in this global benchmark.



Russell/Nomura Indexes
Russell Investments and Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. produce Russell/Nomura Japan Equity Indexes that serve to measure performance based on various investment policies. The indexes are value weighted and include only common stocks domiciled in Japan. All indexes are subsets of the Russell/Nomura Total Market™ Index, which represents approximately 98% of the investable Japan equity market.
