Broad and accurate market coverage.
The Russell Global 1000, 2000 and 3000 are based on the Russell Global Index — a comprehensive and representative global equity benchmark. Russell's global relative approach identifies large and small cap companies globally, regardless of country, to provide an accurate measurement of global performance.
Index constituents are subject to an additional two-step liquidity screen to ensure the Russell Global 1000, 2000 and 3000 represent a tradeable universe to be used as the basis of passive investment strategies.
Practical and replicable.
Due to their smaller baskets and enhanced liquidity, the Russell Global 1000, 2000 and 3000 Indexes provide replicable vehicles for trading and risk management tools such as ETFs, futures and options.
Modular and consistent.
Each index is constructed using a simple, transparent and objective methodology and can be made available in an ex-US version or in style versions such as Growth or Value.
