Russell has dedicated over four decades to identifying superior managers. With its depth of manager research, quality of manager selection and access to some of the world's leading investment managers, investors can access these managers in multiple ways through single, multi-manager and fund-of-fund investments, covering traditional, alternative and highly specialised asset classes and strategies.

Implementation services
Investors can control unintended costs and risks by focusing on a wide variety of implementation areas, including security level portfolio management, transition management, synthetic exposures and foreign exchange. As an illustration, in 2010, our team managed 758 transition events representing more than $620 billion for clients around the world, and our Overlay Services group managed assignments for a total notional exposure of $83 billion.

The Russell global indexes offer an objective and transparent way to accurately measure distinct segments of the global market, covering approximately 10,000 companies or 98% of the market. Russell also provides the leading U.S. equity index family for institutional investors with over US$3.9 trillion in investment assets benchmarked against them.
The Russell-Jadwa Shariah Index series is based on the Russell Global Index, a complete family of global equity indexes that truly represent the institutionally investable equity market. It is screened from the 10,000+ security Russell Global Index universe and is divisible by region, country, developed/emerging markets, capitalization size, sector, industry and styles to provide fully modular benchmarks representing the diversified opportunity set within each segment. The Russell-Jadwa Shariah Global + GCC Index, the broadest in the series, covers ~3,800+ securities in 51 countries.
