Community involvement
Russell and ENZT join forces

Russell Investments aims to improve financial security for people and what better way to do this than focusing on financial literacy and children.
Earlier this year, Russell entered into a partnership to support the Enterprise New Zealand Trust with the Financial Education programme it runs in high schools to help students become financially literate.
"Financial literacy is our core competency and kids are at the centre of family and community," says New Zealand Senior Manager Investment Consulting, Alister van der Maas.
"Working with organisations such as ENZT offers us the opportunity to pass on our knowledge to help prepare the next generation for a world where financial literacy will be increasingly important."
Programmes such as this also enable Russell staff to work in the heart of the community through teacher training and classroom visits.
"The students of today are tomorrow's investors, grant makers, philanthropists and money managers. The more we educate them now, the better they will perform in the marketplace and, therefore, the more benefits they will deliver to their communities," says van der Maas.
