John Williams Senior Consultant, Russell Investment Group — New Zealand   B.Sc (first-class Honours - Economics) University of Canterbury 1979 B.Mus (Performance - Piano) University of Auckland 1982 John Williams is a Senior Consultant with Russell Investment Group's New Zealand office. His responsibilities include the provision of consulting services to locally-based superannuation funds and charitable institutions. John has had extensive experience in the New Zealand funds management industry. He has worked for several major institutions in a wide number of roles focused on equities - as analyst, portfolio manager and dealer - and tactical and strategic asset allocation. He has had responsibility for equities or investment strategy at three New Zealand fund managers. John also spent two years as a private client adviser at Goldmans JBWere in Auckland before joining Russell in May 2001. John has tutored Economics and Statistics at both Canterbury and Auckland universities.
