Sasha Mandich Senior Consultant   CFA Charterholder, CFA Institute, 2006 Certified Investment Management Analyst, IMCA, 2003 B. Com Hons (First Class), Finance, University of Auckland, 2001 B. Com, Finance and Economics, University of Auckland, 2000 As a Senior Consultant, Sasha is responsible for the provision of consulting services to a number of institutional investors across New Zealand, including advice on investment policy and strategy, asset allocation, asset class structures and manager selection. Previous to this, he was based in Seoul for two years, where he served as Russell Representative. Sasha was seconded to Korea in order to open Russell's first office in the country, and was subsequently responsible for all aspects of its operations. His duties included business development, market and manager research, as well as the formulation of a long-term business strategy. Prior to his transfer to Asia, Sasha was a Consultant in the Auckland team for three years working closely with a number community trusts, pension plans and Crown institutions. He also worked as part of the institutional services team for Russell in Australia. Prior to joining Russell, Sasha worked as a risk analyst for FIMAT Australia, with the Société Générale Group for two years. Privately, Sasha enjoys spending time with his family. His son is keeping him busy through sporting activities such as wrestling, soccer, rugby and some more wrestling. Sasha continues to practise the Korean he learnt while on his overseas assignment, trying to catch up with his son who is already speaking it fluently.
