| Investment Strategy |
|
The Fund is predominantly invested in underlying funds which invest in government issued securities, bank bills and cash of countries included in the benchmark. The Fund may also invest in securities issued by provincial and state agencies, semi-government organisations, supranationals and corporations as well as mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. The Fund may also from time to time invest in low grade or unrated debt securities to a limited extent. The Fund may also invest in emerging market securities. Currency hedging is used to hedge some of the foreign currency exposure back to New Zealand dollars. |
