Focused Giving Initiative

Through the Focused Giving Initiative, Russell Investments makes grants globally to significant and innovative programs that address pressing needs in two areas: Children and Financial Literacy. We will accept proposals from United States non-profit organizations with tax-exempt status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and from recognized charities in other countries where Russell does business.
Application Procedure
Organizations seeking support should first submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Russell will then invite full applications from agencies whose work most closely fits our philanthropic goals. The LOI should be in English, be no more than two pages, and include the following:
| |
- 1-2 paragraphs about the organization, including mission, brief history, major programs or achievements, and total annual operating budget.
- What are the goal(s) and desired outcomes of this program?
- How will it be implemented?
- By what measures will you know you've succeeded?
- If applicable, who are your partners and what roles will they play?
- What is the total program budget and the amount you would like Russell to consider supporting?
- Name of Director and full contact information (phone, mail, email, website).
